    Description

    A zippered bag that has been made from vintage handloomed Bolivian (possibly Peruvian) wool fabric.  I think the bag was probably made for the tourist trade by indigenous people, possibly 1960s or 1970s, but that's just my guess.  Fabric likely came from a damaged aguayo - but this fabric is in excellent condition.  Dominant motif is a female with dress and two people holding hands.  Purchased at an estate sale.  The zipper works fine.  Measures about 12" X 9" X 2 1/2" - belt is 2 1/2" wide.
