Let's get to the issue first:  One end of the attached strap shows some wear and fraying - see picture #7.  I think it could be reinforced by someone more talented than myself.  I didn't notice it until I was taking the pictures.  The other side has no problems.  I included pictures of both.  I HAVE REFLECTED THIS IN THE PRICE.
